Yangjiang Hotspring Resort

　　Yangxi Salt Water Mineral Hotspring

　　As China excellent tourism city, Yangjiang has an abundant tourist resource including mountains, sea, springs, lakes, forests, caves which distribute around this city. Especially for the hotspring resource, the water temperature is high, water quality is good and the kinds of water are various. The hotspring is light and salty which is outstanding in province and even in China. There are five advantages of Yangjiang hotspring: Firstly, it is the broad distribution. Secondly, it is the large quantity of water. Thirdly, it is the high water temperature. Fourthly, it is the excellent quality. Fifthly, it is the good location.

　　Now, there are 6 hotsprings which have been geological explored in Yangjiang and 3 of them have been developed. Hotspring has become the new bright point of investment in Yangjiang. The hotspring resorts which have been built have a high starting point and large investment. They are situated at north, east and west of Yangjiang, each with a distinct identity. Built and open to outside on Septmber 29,2003, Yangjiang hotspring resort is the first 5-star hotspring resort in the west of Guangdong Province and it is a resort including hotspring, health, traveling, entertainment, vacation, business, conference and so on. The facilities for sports and amusement there are hotspring resort, luxury villa, large outdoor hotspring health recovery centre, hotspring paradise, golf course, tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, gymnasium, Chess & Card room.

　　Yangjiang made a requisition to Provincial Land Resource Hall for the development of Yangchun Gangmei Huangcun hotspring. This hotspring is situated in Yangchun City and there are good ecological environment, predominant geographical location and excellent condition for development. Yangchun government decides to build Yangchun Hotspring Resort through attracting enterprises and capital, which has received the permission from Yangjiang Development and Innovation Bureau and has become the key construction item of Yangjiang and Yangchun government.

　　Yangjiang was honored the title of “China Hometown of Hotspring” by China Mining League on January, 2008. This has supplied a splendid chance for the transformation of Yangjiang tourism industry – changing from only sightseeing to the combination of sightseeing and amusement. 

　　According to imperfect statistic in 2009, the number of people who work in hotspring industry in Yangjiang was more than 1500 and Yangjiang attracted 6,534,000 travelers outside which increased 16.1%. The total tourism income was ￥3,500,000,000, which increased 16.7% and advanced the development of employment and economy.
